Jesus said to his disciples: “If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. Because you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.
Ask yourself this question and then reflect upon it. Who are you?
That question can be pretty challenging. I was asked recently if my reflections were for me to say “hey look at me” or were they to evangelize. My answer is I honestly don’t know. I enjoy writing, I feel led by a voice that is saying, reflect! If one person can be inspired, if one person can be led to Christ through my simple words, then that is the answer. Go and make disciples. We are God’s children. We are often misled into thinking we have to belong to the worldly desires. We all do! All things are possible, all the amazing things of this world are a blessing from God. The world we see is the here and now. Not the end but the stepping stone. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
